2001年赴澳门探亲,有幸认识从美国回澳门小住的孙中山先生女儿孙琬的谊女司徒倩大姐,当年已是76岁高龄。老人家神情端庄,温文尔雅,谦恭有礼,风韵犹存。在司徒大姐的寓所里,孙中山先生女婿戴恩赛先生的大照片悬挂在大厅的墙壁上。在交谈中得知戴恩赛博士曾就读于庚子赔款的清华学堂(清华大学前身),还是我的老学长,于是我们间的距离忽然拉近了许多,像是老朋友重逢,我们谈得很投入。司徒大姐还从影集中挑选一张戴恩赛先生30年代任国民政府驻巴西全权公使时与巴西总统(左)合影的相片送给我,并在照片背面亲笔题字。 2002年1月,司徒大姐从洛杉矶给我电传了大量的文字资料和图片,并在信中说:
In 2001 she went to Macao to visit her relatives and was fortunate enough to know Miss Szeto Sister, daughter of Sun Yat-sen, daughter of Sun Yat-sen, who lived in the United States from Macao back to Maucao. That year was 76 years old. The elderly look dignified, gentle, courteous, charm still exists. In the apartment of Sister Stuart, the large photo of Mr. Sun Yat-sen’s son-in-law, Mr. D’Ensemble, hangs on the wall of the hall. During the conversation, we learned that Dr. Dionsey was studying at Tsinghua School (predecessor of Tsinghua University) who had studied in Gengzi and was still my eldest son. As a result, the distance between us suddenly dropped a lot. As an old friend, we talked about Very committed. Sister Stuart also selected from the photo album a picture of Mr. D’Ensex posing with the President of Brazil (left) when he became the plenipotentiary of Brazil in the 1930s and sent him an inscription on the back of the photo. In January 2002, Sister Stuart telephoned me a large number of text messages and pictures from Los Angeles and said in the letter:
