被命名为“2006深圳指挥比赛”的第二届全国指挥比赛,由中国音乐家协会指挥学会、深圳文化局主办,深圳交响乐团承办,于2006年11月19日—25日在深圳举行。因为距1993年举行首届中国指挥比赛时间太久,也因为上届比赛出了俞峰、李心草这样的重量级人物,所以此次赛事被业界格外关注。来自中央音乐学院、上海音乐学院、西安音乐学院、中央民族学院、陕西省师范大学、总政军乐团、星海音乐学院、武汉音乐学院、中国音乐学院、留学生以及台湾地区在内的21名选手报名,17名选手到深圳参加复决赛(共分三轮),均由深圳交响乐团现场演奏。
The 2nd National Conductor Competition, named “2006 Shenzhen Conductor Competition”, was organized by the Conductor Association of Chinese Musicians Association, hosted by Shenzhen Cultural Bureau and undertaken by Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.
