小儿糖尿病大部分是幼年型糖尿病,发病后病情迅速进展,易发生酮症酸中毒而陷入昏迷。胰岛素不足所致的代谢障碍在幼年型糖尿病时所见到的代谢障碍,其主要原因是胰岛素不足所致,并由各种诱因而发生糖尿病。
