住友锥形穿孔机是一种供无缝钢管生产用的新型斜轧穿孔机。它采用一种与传统曼内斯曼式穿孔机不同的原理,已经得到发展。这种穿孔机的两大特点为:(1)旋转横锻效应(曼式效应)已在极大程度上得以消除,(2)剪切变形已减至最小。这台穿孔机已于1983年元月在日本凯南(Kainan)钢管厂的3~*轧管机组成功地投入生产。
Sumitomo cone piercing machine is a new type of cross-piercing piercing machine for seamless steel pipe production. It has been developed using a different principle than the traditional Mannesmann punch. The two major features of this piercing machine are: (1) The swiveling cross-swage effect (Mann’s effect) has been largely eliminated, and (2) shear deformation has been minimized. The puncher was successfully put into production in January 1983 at the 3 ~ * rolling mill unit at the Kainan Steel Plant in Japan.
