目前,“第十二届全国美术作品展览”各项筹备和组织工作正全面而有序地推进,在美术创作越来越繁荣多样的今天,全国美展如何引导美术家们的创作;如何能留下精品力作;如何呈现主流美术的新趋势,是中国美协与美术家们应深入探讨的问题。在美术家们积极备战全国美展的关键时期,中国美术家协会于3月21日在北京召开“第十二届全国美术作品展览美术创作座谈会”。中国美协分党组书记、常务副主席吴长江,分党组副书记、秘书长徐里,副秘书长陶勤、杜军,中国文联国内联络部评奖处处长罗江华,美术家代表胡伟、代大权、白展望、苗再新、王颖生、王宏剑、谢东明、方正、李传真、郑艺、庄重、于小冬、邓柯、李晓林、陈坚、陈琦、李荣林、王海滨、袁元、陆庆龙、张元、刘泉义、王惠亮、刘琦、康蕾、柳青、王冠军、焦洋等30余位,以及媒体代表参加了座谈会。会议由杜军主持,《美术》杂志执行主编尚辉担任学术主持。尚辉首先介绍了本次座谈会召开的初衷:目前,备战“十二
