18名年轻的哮喘病患者食用酸渍洋葱后立即引起哮喘发作。研究表明上述现象是由于吸入了大量洋葱中所含的亚硫酸盐所致。在此之前的2年间,所有患者在只食用了一只酸渍洋葱后不到1min 的时间内至少都发生过一次哮喘,但经常食用生的和烹调过的洋葱却无任何症状出现。
Eighteen young people with asthma eaten asthma immediately after eating onions. Studies have shown that the above phenomenon is due to inhalation of a large number of onions contained in the sulfite caused. In the previous 2 years, all patients had at least one asthma attack in less than 1 min after having consumed only one sour onion, but regular consumption of raw and cooked onions did not show any symptoms.
