首都国际机场是我国对外开放的重要窗口,全国最大的航空港,它与32个国家和地区直接通航,有国际线90多条,每天有30个左右国际航班入境,入境旅客3500—4000人左右。其中有国家元首、知名人士,有经商、来访,考察、技术交流、旅游的;有我国出访、考察、技术交流的归国人员;有直达北京的,也有转机来我国的。据统计,大约有200多个国家和地区的朋友从首都国际机场进入中国国境,旅客携带动植物产品的来源比货运进境的还要广泛,动植物检疫把关的任务十分艰巨。
Capital International Airport is an important window open to the outside world and the largest airport in the country. It has direct links with 32 countries and regions. There are more than 90 international routes. There are about 30 international flights entering and leaving China each day, and there are about 3,500-4,000 inbound tourists. There are heads of state and celebrities, businesspeople, visitors, expeditions, exchange of technology and travel. There are returning personnel who have been visiting China for study tours and technical exchanges. There are also direct-to-Beijing and transit-to-China agencies. Statistics show that more than 200 countries and regions have friends from the Capital International Airport entering the territory of China. The source of animal and plant products carried by passengers is even broader than that of entering the country. The quarantine task of animals and plants is extremely arduous.
