芙蓉桥白族乡位于桑植县东北部,辖有13个行政村135个村民小组。十年来,芙蓉桥白族乡各族人民沐浴着改革开放的春风,紧紧围绕打造“民俗生态文化名乡、旅游休闲宜居新乡”的总体思路不动摇,抢抓发展机遇,力促跨越发展,综合实力明显增强,基础条件明显改善,民俗文化氛围逐渐浓厚,是“湖南省民族文化传承示范基地”、“国家级非物质文化遗产——桑植仗鼓舞芙蓉桥保护区”、桑植县首批特色乡镇建设之一,多次组织参加全县文艺活动,并代表桑植县参加了2013年湖南省“欢乐潇湘”大型群众文艺汇演总决赛张家界市专场。
