欣赏陈武先生制作的雀梅盆景《屈卧兮浩然》(《中国花卉盆景》今年第7期彩页),给人的启示良多。一只圆盆,一段枯桩;主干屈曲横卧,向左伸展;枝繁叶茂,生机盎然;顶梢上扬,昂首云天;屈而不屈,正气浩然。山野枯桩,并不鲜见,除了枯与弯,此桩并无特别令人赏心悦目之处。从桩基裸露的一束须根和中段上下几个分权观察,桩胚原系直立或者斜倚。如按原形构思造型,作品必然平庸少趣。然作者匠心独具,利用主干基部的弯势,因材施艺,作成“悬崖”,顿使作品鲜明的个性闪现眼前。
