转基因食品能不能放心地吃?这一问题一直是争论的焦点。有关专家认为,一些人反对转基因食品的原因主要在三个方面:其一,转基因作物中的毒素可引起人类急、慢性中毒或产生致癌、致畸、甚至突变;其二,作物中的免疫或致敏物质使人类机体产生变态或过敏反应;其三,转基因产品中的主要营养成分、微量营养成分及抗营养因子的变化,会降低食品的营养价值,使其营养结构失衡。 还有些担心来自转基因食品可能存在的,而人类目前无法了解的潜在危险。有些专家推测,转基因食品一旦对人类健康和环境平衡造成破坏,恢复起来将非常困难。
Genetically modified foods can not eat with ease? This issue has been the focus of controversy. Experts believe that some people oppose genetically modified foods for three main reasons: First, the toxins in genetically modified crops can cause acute or chronic human poisoning or carcinogenic, teratogenic, or even mutation; Second, the crop immunity or Allergenic substances cause abnormal or allergic reactions in human body. Thirdly, the changes of main nutrients, micronutrients and anti-nutritional factors in transgenic products will reduce the nutritional value of food and make the nutritional structure unbalanced. Still others are worried about the potential dangers GMOs may have that are not currently understood by humans. Some experts speculate that once the GMO food damage to human health and environmental balance, recovery will be very difficult.
