1 隐匿在贵州遵义市金鼎山镇大山深处的扇子林教学点,涵盖着当地苗、汉两个民族的四十多户人家。学校除校长徐德光外还有二名代课教师,二十二名学生。徐校长把学校看作是山娃子走出大山的起跑线,他用毕生的艰辛托起了大山里孩子们的希望。2 1975年8月,高中毕业年仅十七岁的徐德光自告奋勇到扇子林小学任教。那时通往学校的两条路都有七八公里长,往返需要五个小时,山林陡峭、灌木丛生,十分险恶。徐德光用双手花了整整五年的时间一刀一刀,为孩子们劈出了一条十几公里长的求学之路。
