Exploration and innovation are advanced features of thinking. From a certain point of view, the teaching of strengthening the double base, training ability, developing intelligence, all serve this purpose. Therefore, to develop students’ spirit of exploration and innovation should be the common task of teaching in all subjects. This article talks about this issue only in language teaching.
