2006年11月3日上午11时,中华人民共和国新闻出版总署署长龙新民来到江苏教育出版社新语文学习杂志社视察。龙署长一边翻阅杂志,一边关切地询问:“刊物目前发行量多少?”刊社社长钱元元回答:“月发行40多万册。”接着向署长汇报了刊社运营状况。当得知这本创办了20年的期刊,在更名后抓住机遇,抢占市场,通过一系列内容、管理及经营上的创新,两年内获华东及国家级奖十余项,刊社整体效益比三年前翻了一番时,龙署长高兴地说:“一本刊物,每个月能发到40多万册,不简单,品位也很高。”
