在作物的杂交育种中,正确地选择和尽早地辨明杂交组合的优劣是杂交育种的关键,而亲本配合力的高低则是选配亲本的主要依据。因此选育和鉴定具有高配合力的亲本,对于优良组合的选配具有重要的意义。实践告诉我们:由不同品种、栽培地点和栽培年份估算的配合力是有差异的。因此,有必要对多组合、多地点及多年份试验材料配合力的估算问题进行研究。
