水稻品种的抗瘟性可分为营养生理与过敏性反应两种类型,其外部形态特征主要表现在叶色与叶片的开張度上,可作为杂交亲本选擇及子代淘汰的参考指标。在选擇抗瘟育种材料时,首先要探明亲本的抗瘟机制及其特性和稻瘟菌生理小种的区系分布情况,有目的地引进国内外水稻和陆稻的抗瘟品种作为杂交亲本,并用致病性最强的生理小种进行接种鑒定。为了育成既有丰产优質又有抗瘟性的品种,应由植物病理与遺傳育种工作者分工协作共同进行。
