芹芽,質地脆嫩、营养丰富、气味芳香,以之佐餐,能增进食欲,是春节前后最受广大人民喜爱的蔬菜之一。芹芽在安庆市的宜光、菱湖、龙獅、蓮漁各蔬菜大队均有栽培。其中以宜光大队生产的数量最多,品質也最好。在栽培技术上积累了丰富的經驗,現作如下介紹。一、品种性状簡介:作为芹芽栽培的是繖形科水芹属多年生宿根性植物。它有发达的匍匐茎,俗称“芹藤”。安庆市栽培的品种为蒲芹,既能旱栽也能水生。株高八十厘米,腋芽发达,茎上有节,节上有明显的根环。叶柄上部圓形,基部横断面月牙形,表面有稜。叶为二回羽状复叶。叶柄亮綠色,基部較深,小叶柄基部为白色,小叶暗綠色,背面有光泽。叶长五十九厘米,叶緣呈不規则的鋸齿状。这个品种的香味比香芹略淡。
