本文从接受的视角,研究探索了尤金·奥尼尔在中国被接受与传播的历程,指出相同的时代背景、相似的价值观念以及相近的现实主义文学理念是中国文化选择接受奥尼尔的主要因素;而中国戏剧改革大潮的呼唤更是奥尼尔在中国得以传播的契机。通过这一研究,可以发现中国文化在接受异质文化影响时的规律与特征,对从接受的视角进行比较文学的研究提供了参考。
From the perspective of acceptance, this essay explores the course of Eugene O’Neill’s acceptance and dissemination in China. It points out that the same historical background, similar values and similar realistic literary ideas are the main factors that Chinese culture chooses to accept O’Neill. However, The call for the tide of Chinese drama reform is even more an opportunity for O’Neill to spread in China. Through this study, we can find the laws and characteristics of Chinese culture in the context of heterogeneous culture and provide a reference for the comparative literature research from the accepted perspective.
