BRIF-ISOL是正在开展的串列加速器升级工程上一个非常重要的部分。该系统是利用回旋加速器产生的100MeV质子束打靶产生放射性同位素,在线分离进入实验终端或者注入现存的串列加速器。
BRIF-ISOL is a very important part of the ongoing tandem accelerator upgrade project. The system utilizes a 100 MeV proton beam generated by a cyclotron to create a radioisotope, separates it online into the experimental end or into an existing tandem accelerator.
