长期以来,精读一直是高中英语阅读教学的主旋律,而泛读从未得到足够的重视,于是,学生阅读中诸多问题凸显。通过开设泛读课可以激发学生的阅读兴趣,扩大学生的词汇量,提高学生的阅读速度,帮助学生更多地了解英语国家的文化背景知识,最终培养学生自主阅读能力。本文着重分析了在高中阶段一味重视精读教学的弊端,开展泛读教学的必要性,以及在实施泛读教学以真正培养学生阅读能力过程中应该注意的几个问题。
For a long time, intensive reading has been the main theme of high school English reading teaching, and extensive reading has not been given enough attention, so many problems in student reading highlights. Through the establishment of general reading classes can stimulate students ’interest in reading, expand the vocabulary of students and improve students’ reading speed, to help students learn more about the cultural background of English-speaking countries, and ultimately develop their own reading ability. This article focuses on analyzing the shortcomings of blindly teaching intensive reading in senior high school, the necessity of carrying out extensive reading teaching, and several problems that should be paid attention to in implementing general reading teaching so as to truly cultivate students’ reading ability.
