本文是国内第一篇专门讨论国际著名比较文学学者和文学理论家杜威·佛克马的论文,较为全面地论述了佛克马在比较文学领域内的建树:(1)作为比较文学界最早将文化相对主义加以改造并引入比较文学研究领域的学者,他对国际比较文学界的兴趣东移起到了重要的作用;(2)他对文学经典建构及重构的讨论,突破了“西方中心主义”的模式,为中国文学进入全球视野起到了推波助澜的作用;(3)在国际性的后现代主义研究中,他也打破了“西方中心主义”的束缚,使得一部世界比较文学史中有了关于中国及其他东方文学的描述。作者认为,佛克马的这些理论与实践为中国的比较文学学者提供了有益的启示:比较文学学者应为中国文学的世界性走向作出自己的贡献。
This paper is the first dissertation in China devoted to discussing internationally renowned comparative literature and literary theorist Dewey Fokke, and discusses Fokker’s achievements in the area of comparative literature in a comprehensive way: (1) As the earliest Cultural relativism and the introduction of scholars in the field of comparative literature, he played an important role in the movement of international comparative literature; (2) His discussion of the construction and reconstruction of the literary class broke through the “Western-centrism (3) In the research of international postmodernism, he also broke the shackles of ”Western centralism" and made a history of the world comparative literature A description of China and other oriental literature. The author believes that these theories and practices of Fokma provide useful enlightenment for Chinese comparative literature scholars: comparative literature scholars should make their own contribution to the worldwide trend of Chinese literature.
