1987年8月,我从北京专程回到江西瑞金,向矗立在瑞金革命烈士纪念堂前的爸爸毛泽覃烈士纪念碑敬献花圈。爸爸是在1934年10月中央红军出发长征后,留在中央苏区坚持游击战争的。他率部转战闽赣边界、武夷山区,1935年4月26日部队从长(?)四都突围到(?)金红林山区时,被敌人包围,爸爸在激战中英勇牺牲。今年4年26日,是爸爸为革命壮烈牺牲58周年。当时我仰望着爸爸庄严的铜像,默默地向爸爸鞠躬行礼,思绪万千。我怀着非常悲痛的心情,写这篇纪念文章,以表达我几十年来缅怀爸爸的哀思!爸爸的一生是革命的一生,战斗的
In August 1987, I made a special trip back from Beijing to Ruijin, Jiangxi, and presented a wreath to the monument of my father, Mao Zhan, who stands in front of the Ruijin Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall. My father left the Central Soviet Area insisting on guerrilla warfare after the Long March was started by the Central Red Army in October 1934.
