椒江市受1987年第十二号台风外缘的影响,9月9～10日两天降雨量达324.6毫米(洪家国家气象基准站记录),仅10日20～21时降雨82毫米。暴雨后,栅浦闸水位高达5.3米,岩头闸和华景闸分别为4.7米和5.25米。海门港潮位上升到5.78米。由于降雨量大、潮位高,排水人海速度慢,使大片粮田、棉花、柑桔、蔬菜淹在水中,遭受到严重的损失。 全市44527亩柑桔,除山地栽培的以外,海涂和平原柑桔都遭淹没,受淹面积达38891亩,占总面积的87.34％,其中受淹二昼夜(48小时)以上的有22894亩。海涂栽培的15997亩柑桔,淹水时间更长,有的近四昼夜(100个小时)。
The Jiaojiang City was affected by the outer edge of Typhoon No. 12 in 1987.
