本文报告了一项基于专门用途英语(ESP)的需求分析理论、从中外合作办学项目的学生需求和专业课程对英语的需求角度分析、反思合作办学项目中的英语教学现状、制定“基于ESP的合作项目英语教学改革方案”并实施的科研项目。项目实施两年后进行问卷调查分析和成绩对照,结果显示,ESP教学对中外合作办学项目中外教全英语授课的专业课程有明显帮助。因此,ESP教学应成为中外合作办学项目中英语教学必不可少的组成部分。
This paper reports a theory of needs analysis based on ESP. From the perspective of students’ needs and the demand for English in a Sino-foreign cooperative education program, this paper reviews the current situation of English teaching in a cooperative education program, Cooperation project English teaching reform program "and the implementation of scientific research projects. Two years after the implementation of the project, a questionnaire survey and comparison of results were conducted. The results show that ESP teaching is obviously helpful to the professional courses offered by Chinese and foreign teachers who teach Chinese in the whole country. Therefore, ESP teaching should become an integral part of English teaching in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs.
