尽管硼的各种化合物被人们利用较早,而且在世界各国的经济中,硼的需求量已达到了巨大的规模,但是,不同成因类型的硼矿床的研究程度还远不是相同的。这主要是因为在不久以前,硼的生产需要量主要是依靠开采火山沉积矿床以及部分依靠开采含次生矿物的沉积矿床来满足的。只有很少一部分硼是从火山喷气活动过程中形成的火山成因的矿床中开采出来的。硼矿开采中所以造成这种趋向是因为以合水硼酸盐共生矿物为主的硼矿石的加工技术
Although boron compounds have been used by people earlier and the demand for boron has reached a huge scale in the economies of various countries, the degree of research on boron deposits of different genetic types is far from the same. This is mainly due to the fact that the production requirements for boron have long been met mainly by the exploitation of volcanic sedimentary deposits and partly by the exploitation of sedimentary deposits containing secondary minerals. Only a small percentage of boron is mined from volcanic deposits formed during volcanic eruptions. Therefore, this trend is caused by the exploitation of boron ore because of the processing technology of boron ore, which is mainly composed of co-borate symbiotic minerals
