May 18-20, 2007, co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party and Peking University, organized by the Central Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Industry, the Economic and Human Development Research Center of Peking University, and the Organizing Committee of the Health Poverty Alleviation Project of the Foundation. China’s Primary Health Care The 13th China Rural Health Reform and Development Forum, funded by the Foundation, was held in Beijing. On the morning of May 18th, the opening ceremony of the forum was hosted by Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation Hu Ningning. At the opening ceremony, members of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and farmers were present.
