雲第一章總則第一條本會定名爲雲南省農民協會。第二條本會是農民自願結合的羣眾組織。第三條農民協會的任務是:甲、團結雇農、貧農、中農及農村中一切反封建的分子,遵照人民政府的政策法令,有步驟地實行反封建的社會改革,保護農民利益。乙、組織農民生產,舉辦農村合作社,發展農業和副業,改善農民生活。丙、保障農民的政治權利,提高農民的政治和文化水平,參加人民民主政權的建設工作。第四條根據中華人民共和國土地改革法,及西南區減租暫行條例:農民協會是農村中改革土地制度及實行減租的合法執行機關。

Article 4 According to the Land Reform Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Provisional Regulations on Rent Reduction in the Southwest Region: The Peasants’ Association is the law enforcement authority for reforming the land system and reducing rent in rural areas.
