我很高兴,这次来正好碰上甘肃省社会学会的成立,当然,这也是你们的有意安排。首先让我代表中国社会学会向大会祝贺! 我想到西北来,时间已经很久了。可是一直都没来得了,这还是第一次。不只是甘肃,陕西、青海我都没有去过,我们国家这么重要的一块地方,我一直没有机会来看一看,这是很遗憾的!现在虽然七十几岁了才到这儿来,但心里却是很愉快的。去年耀邦同志提出种草种树,全国人民都很拥护。今后我们国家发展的一个中心要转移到西北来,而种草种树是开发我们西北的第一步。去年中国民主同盟派出了一个专家小组,来调查这个地区种草种树情况,建议让我们智力支援边疆。我去年没能来,今年总算来了,同我一起来的同志中有搞水土的、有搞牧草的、有搞畜牧的,有搞昆虫
