大泉五十铸行于王莽新朝居摄二年(公元七年)。它是王莽时期流通时间最长、铸量仅次于货泉的货币。王莽时期货币制度极为紊乱,货币品种繁多,式样奇特,铸工精美。其中大泉五十看似形制单一,实际版式甚多,而且有许多奇异品种。多年来,笔者从襄阳地区出土以及汉江中出水钱币中所得大泉五十较多,其中有些较少见。现选拓12枚附后,其中图1-6为襄阳汉江中出水,图7-12为襄阳出土。
Daquan 50 cast line in Wang Mang new DPRK two years (AD seven years). It is the longest circulation of Wang Mang period, casting second only to the currency of the currency.
