Practically Strengthening Leadership in Quality Management in the Metallurgical Industry The Ministry of Metallurgical Industry is the competent department in charge of industry exercising the quality control function by the State Council on the national metallurgical industry. The metallurgical offices and bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities specifically designated in the state plan, or the units authorized by the government (hereinafter referred to as the “Metallurgical Administration of the Provinces and Municipalities”) are all local people’s governments exercising the metallurgical industry within their respective administrative regions
