熔模铸造制壳用撒砂机,一般分机械振动撒砂机和沸腾砂床两种。机械振动撒砂机结构复杂、庞大,噪声大;沸腾砂床用压缩空气为动力,结构简单、操作方便。但后者工作时,灰尘大,有害于操作者的身体健康;沸腾起来的砂子,在空间分布不均匀,每粒砂子的能量不同且相差很大,造成蜡模挂砂层不均和尖角部位易碎。严重地影响型壳质量,致使铸件废品率高,故仅能适应于要求挂砂质量不高的型壳制造。
