The composite electroacoustic stimulation technique, also referred to as cochlear implant protection for residual hearing, was explored. The technology divides the sound signal into two parts: low frequency and high frequency, and uses the hearing aid amplification technology and the cochlear speech signal processing technology to transmit to the patient at the same time. The final sound perception is obtained from the two information of the cerebral cortex. The technique can not only preserve the low-frequency residual hearing of the patient well, but also improve the speech recognition ability combined with the high-frequency information provided by the electronic cochlear to obtain a better hearing recovery effect. The application of this technology is bound to expand the adaptation of the cochlear population, so that more suitable for cochlear implants in patients with severe deaf hearing recovery better.
