渭南赵乾生先生元中,为秦中巨富,好学好礼,蔼蔼长者,研究金石之学为西北冠。毛子林太夫子《关中金石文字存逸考》各碑刻目录下注“渭南赵氏藏石”者,皆先生家物也。缪年伯云:吕曼生观察于同治间修灞桥,拆出唐志数十方,藏于家。著有《小唐碑考》一册,其子全归之赵氏。庚子两宫西幸陕,适大祲,端午桥制军时抚秦,以振迫先生出巨款,尽献所藏石数百方乃免。今《陶斋藏石记》著录墓志四百余种,大半赵氏故物。金甸丞先生云:书中言赵乾生碑石为端午桥勒
