In the first half of 1979, we conducted a survey of 120 noise sources in the workshops in the area of Kunming Railway. The instruments used were domestic ND-2 type precision sound level meters and octave analyzers. Findings and Discussion Analysis 1. The noise level A is 78 to 125 dB with an average of 98 dB with 93.2% over 85 dB (A), 89.1% over 90 dB (A), 3.3% at 115 dB (A) )the above.
