一研究中国大地构造的方法问题中国地质工作者研究大地构造是由两方面进行的。一是纯地质学的方法,这个方法是由国外大地构造学说而来的,根据各地质时代的古地理海陆分布、沉积的厚薄和相变、岩浆活动,以及褶皱断裂程度,来划分地壳为活动地带(地槽)与稳定地带(地台),把中国大地构造单位划分为地台(前塞武纪)、加里东褶皱带、华力西褶皱带、燕山褶皱带等等。按照这个方法,首先是分析古老岩系以确定属于前塞武纪的地台,然后再分析较新的岩系以确定以后的褶皱带(也就是新地台),因此,可说是由古到新的研究方法;另一方
A METHODOLOGICAL STUDY ON THE TECTONIC STRUCTURE OF CHINA The study of geotectonic structure by Chinese geologists is conducted in two aspects. First, the method of pure geology, this method is derived from the theory of the tectonics abroad, according to the geologic age of the paleogeographic land and sea distribution, sedimentary thickness and phase transition, magmatic activity, and fold rupture, to divide the crust as an activity (Terraces) and stable zones (terraces), and divides the tectonic units in China into platforms (Precambrian), the Caledonian fold belt, the Variscan fold belt, the Yanshan fold belt, and so on.
