1999年7月5日至9日,联合国国际减灾十年委员会与国际气象组织,联合国教科文组织等在日内瓦国际会议中心举办了“1999国际减灾十年活动论坛”(IDNDR PROGRAMME FORUM 1999),这是国际减灾十年计划的最后一次重大活动,也是本世纪最后一次全球性的大规模的减灾会议。来自全世界90多个国家和地区的政府代表团以及50多个国际组织代表和私人机构的代表约700人参加了这次论坛的活动。
From 5 to 9 July 1999, the United Nations Commission on International Decentry and the International Meteorological Organization and UNESCO organized the “IDNDR PROGRAM FORUM 1999” at the Geneva International Conference Center This is the last major event of the International Decade of Decade and the last major global disaster reduction conference of this century. About 700 government delegates from more than 90 countries and regions and more than 50 representatives from international organizations and private sector representatives attended the forum.
