从开发汉江水运潜力,提出南水北调中线“远期引江”采取从荆江引江入汉济黄。第一步,建设两沙运河从荆江引江入汉,经过长湖,扩挖长湖航线和江汉航线上段(西荆河航道),减少新建航道长度。同时,为开展引清调度改善汉江中下游水环境,沿干流反向提水入崔家营水库,推进航电结合梯级开发提高通航能力。第二步,修建鄂豫运河从唐东岗地经过方城地堑,将长江水不经丹江口水库直接送达方城去郑州接济黄河。这样,就在我国中原腹地构建除京杭大运河以外又一条纵贯南北的水运干线,利在千秋。
From developing the potential of the Han River water transport, it is proposed that the midline of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project “lead the river in the long term” and take the lead from the Jingjiang River into Hanji Yellow River. The second step, the construction of the canal between Hubei and Henan Province from the Tang dugang through the Fangcheng Graben, the Yangtze River water directly through the Danjiangkou reservoir to the city to Zhengzhou to the Yellow River.
