本试验通过分别对低活力和高活力的1984年和1985年生产的陕单9号玉米单交种种子作 PEG—6000水溶液的渗调处理后,再进行发芽试验,发现 PEG 溶液渗调处理对玉米种子活力有十分明显的促进作用,尤其对低活力种子表现更为突出.该试验还测定了渗调后玉米种子的水浸出液电导率及玉米种子在不同介质中的吸水速度,从理论上解释了 PEG 对玉米种子活力的效应.冷试验及田间试验结果都明显证实 PEG 渗调对玉米种子活力的促进作用.
In this experiment, the osmotic treatment of PEG-6000 aqueous solution of Shandan No. 9 maize single seeds which were produced in 1984 and 1985 with low activity and vigor was carried out respectively, and then germination test was carried out.
