I have always held the view that any doctrine that has had a great or lasting impact in history generally contains elements that are reasonable and desirable and there are also omissions on the one side. Therefore, I do not advocate absolutely agree or absolutely oppose a certain doctrine. Even the best doctrine can and should be doubted, the so-called critical absorption is intended, especially in the field of social sciences. Since I entered college, this view has become clearer and stronger, and this attitude has influenced my choice of academic path. During the unforgettable years of reading and listening at Peking University, I was greatly influenced by the academic thoughts of Zhu De-hei. During the course of compiling “Eight Hundred Words of Modern Chinese”, I was fortunate enough to have a toddler’s education under the guidance of Lv Shuxiang. However, Writing practice, I have to face the numerous doctrines, numerous choices. All this made me feel more and more strongly that I must find the meeting point or the meeting point of the rational factors of different doctrines, and I should not be able to take it easy and take it easy. From here, I would be willing to take the risk of failure, set foot on the path I have chosen, groping, exploring and searching for the unrecognized confluence point or point of convergence in search of a new academic realm.
