一、规划编制背景雪野旅游区位于莱芜市区北部20公里处,1993年进行旅游开发后,在这里开展湖山垂钓、水上游船观光等旅游活动。2007年8月,雪野旅游区管委会正式揭牌成立,管辖范围包括以雪野湖为中心的周边地区,共239平方公里的范围。近几年旅游区建设快速发展,滨湖地区的国际航空园、山东高速雪野国际度假区、莱钢酒店等多个项目已经建成或在建,湖区周边的马鞍山、小三峡、金泥湾、悬羊吊鼓山、吕祖泉等景区景点初具规模。
