The ginkgo, which is always known as the “plant veteran,” is not only used as a medicine, but has always been respected by diners. The medicinal effects of ginkgo were first included in the book “Pharmaceutical Materia Medica” written by Wu Rui in Yuan Wenzong. Later generations also praised the medicinal value of their poems: “With the astringent, the doctors are profoundly docile and frequently enter into their daughter’s business. They are eager to dress in the skirts, and the ginkgo girls are surnamed Gongsun.” The ginkgo and Gongsun in this poem are both Ginkgo nickname. Although the ginkgo is good, if you eat more, there will be poisoning. This point Li Shizhen’s “Compendium of Materia Medica” contains: “The cooked food is slightly bitter, sweet, warm, and small poisonous.” “Daily Materia Medica,” also said: “Multiple eating 壅 pneumatic wind. Children eat more than faint huhu, startled surprise. With the squid eat soft wind.” “Aroma of Things” also said: “Ginkgo intoxicating” . Sanyuanshoushu
