Grainstone of shoal facies is a kind of important reservior and widely distributed in middle and lower Yangtze .The reservior space depends on sedimentary environment of high energy and shallow water. More important, it is relevant to diagenetic environment. This paper focuses on the research of diagenetic environment and evolutionary sequence, diagenesis and pore evolution, and distribution of shoal facies in middle and lower Yangtze. Thus, we get the conclusion : I. The shoal facies of middle and upper Cambrian is mainly patch shoal in platform, and mainly forms dolomitic remnant grain shoal, lower Ordovician and lower Triassic Period are mainly shoal facies on edge of platform, and form lime-grain shoal. II .Solution pores dolomite factes and recrystallitic dolomite facies are favorable diagenetic facies. Thus, shoal facies reservior is sedimentary diagenetic reservior.
