沂水县位于山东省东南部的沂山南麓、临沂市最北端,总面积2434.8平方公里,约占全省总面积的1.6%。出土文物证明,早在20万年前,先民们就在这片土地上繁衍生息,创造了远古文明,隋朝开皇十六年(公元596年)因沂河流经境内改东安县为沂水县至今。沂水县现有村村通以上公路总里程近两千公里,机动车13.5万辆,机动车驾驶人10万余名,地貌特征为“一山六岭三分平”。
Yishui County is located in the southeastern part of Yishan in southeastern Shandong Province, the northernmost part of Linyi City, with a total area of 2434.8 square kilometers, accounting for 1.6% of the total area of the province. Unearthed relics prove that, as early as 200,000 years ago, ancestors in this land multiply, creating an ancient civilization, the Sui Dynasty Kaihuang sixteen years (AD 596) due to flow through the territory of Yi River in Dongan County for Yishui County to date.
