楚辞中关于龙和马的描写甚多,而据《周礼》“马八尺以上为龙”等文献所载,是龙也即马。而楚辞除多次写到龙与马以外,其中又比较多的写到玉虬、白螭等,玉虬、白螭也即事实上之白马。而据《礼记》“殷人白马黑首”及甲骨卜辞“白马”频出等传世与出土文献所载,殷人对于马特别是白马尤其重视。而楚辞的这种文化现象折射出楚辞与殷商文化之间有着密切的关系,由此可以看出屈原与楚辞在文化上的多样性,凡此有利于进一步理解和把握屈原及其楚辞的文化渊源。
There are many descriptions about the dragon and the horse in Chu Ci, and according to the documents such as “Zhou Li” and “Ma Bafu above,” the dragon is the horse. From this we can see the cultural diversity of Qu Yuan and Chu Ci, which is conducive to further understanding and grasp of Qu Yuan and its Cultural Origins of Chu Ci.
