Through more than 10 years of exploration in reform and opening up, some achievements have been made in invigorating state-owned enterprises. However, it has still not found a practical way to make state-owned enterprises alive. Then, where is the living path of state-owned enterprises? Personal thoughts: I. Practically updating ideas to enable state-owned enterprises to develop and update concepts according to the laws of market economy is a prerequisite for the survival of state-owned enterprises. Under the new circumstances, leaders at all levels from the government to the enterprise and the workers and staff must follow the laws of market economy. It is required to unify ideas, update concepts, and act according to the laws of market economic development. First, the government must act according to the rules of the market economy without compromise.
