德州地区图书馆是1984年10月建立的新馆,馆址在德州市东方红路22号,是一个县级文化事业单位,内部机构设办公室、采编部、图书部(图书外借室、图书资料室、书目参考室)、报刊部(报刊阅览室、过刊资料室)、辅导部,现有工作人员31人。建馆几年来,在地委、行署的关怀下,在地委宣传部、行署文化局的正确领导下,经过全馆同志辛勤劳动,艰苦创业,事业建设逐年发展,各项业务逐步开展起来。 The Texas Regional Library is a new museum established in October 1984.
