Huang Kun, physicist. In 1955 was selected as Chinese Academy of Sciences (Academic Committee). In 1980, he was elected as a foreign academician of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. In 1985 was elected to the Third World Academy of Sciences. Now the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of honorary director, researcher. It is internationally recognized as one of the founders of lattice kinetics and the authoritative founder of phonon physics and has made outstanding contributions to the development of modern solid theory.
