从医生群体角度探讨医疗与社会、文化之间的相互关系,有助于推进人们对传统社会医疗体系的认识,并且发现当时社会的一些特质医生训练问题是社会医疗体系中的重要部分,直接影响到医生群体的存在和发展。本文从地域史角度探讨明清时期江南苏松太地区(相当于明清时期行政区域上的苏松太道)的医生训练,并围绕医生和医生训练、医生训练的内容和具体模式以及医生训练的传承等问题来进行论述。总体而言,明清时代江南社会的相对发达,培育出具有多样形态和地域特色的医生训练模式。
