在冷战即将结束的背景下,两德宣告统一。对于当时的欧洲尤其是德国而言,未来装甲工业如何发展,是其面临的重要战略选择。动荡的局势导致企业人员削减和营业额下降的状态一直持续至20世纪90年代中期。尽管如此,大部分企业仍预见到新技术和未来军事装备的前景,并在商业贸易日趋国际化的环境下,对装甲工业在整个国防工业领域的地位和意义作出了成功预判。
In the context of the end of the cold war, the two German countries reunified. For the time of Europe, especially Germany, the future development of the armor industry is an important strategic choice facing it. The volatile situation led to cuts in business personnel and declining turnover until the mid-1990s. Nevertheless, most enterprises still foresee the prospect of new technologies and future military equipment and have successfully predicted the status and significance of the armored industry in the defense industry as a whole in the increasingly internationalized commercial trade environment.
