The New York and New Jersey Port Authorities decided to pay the carrier a fee of $ 25 for each container that passed the port terminal rail system for more than its 2008 container volume. This is a bonus program approved by the Thursday Board’s commission of commissioners and is expected to last one year. If the agency board allows, it may be extended to next year.
