1996年12月在中国文联第六届代表大会期间的一次晚会上,江主席演唱了《祖国颂》。这首歌是李叔同根据民间音调《老六板》填词而成的。在我国厂为流传的《送别》,是李叔同根据一首美国歌曲《梦见故乡和母亲》填词而成的。这些歌是20世纪初在我国形成的“学堂乐歌”的一部分,李叔同是学堂乐歌的主要编写者之一。李叔同原名文涛,字惜霜,号叔同。1880年10月23日生于天津,去年10月恰值他诞生120周年。他是一位颇具传奇色彩的人物,是一代多才多艺的艺术大师。他不仅精通诗词、金石、书法,而且在介绍西洋音乐、美术、话剧等方面也是先行者,在诸多方面做出了开拓性的贡献。这里要说的
In December 1996, during a party held during the sixth China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Chairman Jiang sang the Song of Motherland.
